Twenty years ago this, the first internationally branded property in Doha, was fitted out with a brand new Charvet kitchen…now, that same kitchen has been replaced, with the same kit!
The operators were so delighted with the performance, sheer power and reliability of Charvet that they have replaced their 20-year-old Charvet kit…with the same, to a kitchen design by Rosemary Hare FCSI, Foodesco. The kitchens are extensive and need the capacity to produce up to 4000 meals within the hotel restaurants and a further 7500 meals to support the banquet halls. More info here: www.foodesco.com

Note: The boiling pans are oil filled. While steam-jacketed pans are more powerful and faster, oil-jacketed versions offer better resilience to limescale and cannot fur up inside.
