Charvet brings a dash of colour to Hotelympia

This season’s most fashionable colour is: Whatever you want Chef!

Charvet is displaying a lime green bespoke cooking suite, to emphasize that Charvet can produce virtually any colour panels using its own enamel factory. charvet lime green bespoke

The Bespoke will feature a new style gas wok, gas open burners, Chrome plancha, Rise and Fall salamander, Adande drawer and GN 2/1 pass-through oven.

A Charvet heavy duty ‘Version colourful’ Pro800 series range will feature different colour enamel side and front panels. It will also include the new Electric Four-Zone Cooking Plate with GN2/1 electric oven under. This is a multipurpose unit that can be used a solid top for pans or for direct plancha cooking.

Also new on this range is an electric bain maries with built-in temperature control system to ensure the most consistent results.

“The growing trend for open kitchens is leading to increased demand for ‘statement’ ranges but with multipurpose functionality in their cooking elements,” says Ian Clow, Charvet UK Sales Director.

“Many of our customers asked for a classic 6-burner range in the Charvet ONE format, because they find that other equipment simply does not stand up to the punishment of working in a modern kitchen,” says Ian Clow.

“The chains especially want equipment to be built strong enough to last seven years, but at the least expensive price, without any ‘frills’ such as coloured panels, enamelled name plates or branded flues.”

The Charvet ONE 6-burner features a one-piece seam-welded stainless-steel chassis, 1.5 mm thick, that provides strength and rigidity. The top is 2mm thick stainless-steel and sides are 1mm thick. Power is rated at 6 x 6.5kW for the Charvet patented ‘I. SYSTEM crown’ open burners, with pilot light and flame failure safety cut-out thermocouple. The GN 2/1 oven features a 9kW burner, 304 stainless steel cavity and a 4-mm thick mild steel base.

The new Charvet ONE Induction Multizone combines four independent 3.5 k/W induction hobs set under a one-piece glass top, the hobs can be operated alone or ‘sequentially regulated’ to effectively re-create the flexible cooking power of a conventional gas or electric solid-top. The Charvet Induction Multizone is now available in 1-metre wide Charvet ONE modules, fitted over a 5 k/W GN2/1 Charvet electric oven
